1970 Ford Econoline Power Steering Conversion

先日日本に発送した税この70年エコノラインにパワステを取り付けましたのでご案内します。

油圧シリンダー付きのステアリングリンケージを元々付いていたパワーアシストの無いリンケージと交換しました。

パワステポンプは中身をリビルトに、プーリーを新品にしてブラケットと共にエンジンに取り付けました。

シリンダー固定用のブラケットはフレームに穴あけをして取り付け

ギヤボックスもパワステ有り用とギヤ比が異なるので交換しました。

リザーバータンクはラジエーター上部のスペースに取り付け

無事動作して快適になりました。

Installed a power steering unit to our 1970 Ford Econoline before we shipped out the van to Japan. We purchased a used steering linkage with a hydraulic cylinder and mounting brackets from a local seller who used to have a 1972 Econoline. He pulled out the power steering unit when he parted out his van. The unit works great, and our van is now easy to steer with only one hand.
