Japan Trip 2014

4/9~4/30の日程で日本に行きます。
車、バイクのイベント参加とお客様方へ商品の配達にお伺いします。

現在の予定では4/13（日）にポートメッセ名古屋で開催のOfflineスワップミート
4/20（日）に同じくポートメッセ名古屋で開催のJoints Custom Bike Showと
同日開催の三重県、東名阪自動車道から名古屋高速でのトラッククルーズ、Unchain the Cruzに行く予定です。

皆さんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしております。

I'm going to be in Japan from April 9th to April 30th for visiting some shows and swapmeet in Nagoya area. I'm also planning to deliver some bikes and parts to my customers and have a vendor booth at the swapmeet called Offline Swapmeet organized by a motorcycle fabrication shop, Kaikado in Komaki, Aichi. My 2002 Ford Ranger is already there and ready to be registered then I'm driving the truck to a truck cruise meeting and another motorcycle show, Joints with our Harley Davidson Twin Cam rigid. I'm excited to see a lot of friends, customers and my family over there.

先日、日本に到着した2002年フォード レンジャーのガスレポート取得が完了しました。

予備検査、登録の準備を進めています。　

81年の720キングキャブ5速と92年のS10エクステンド2.8の5速のガスレポートも有ります。

ガス枠のみの販売または車両の捜索からも承っております。

One of the reason why driving a mini truck in Japan is so hard is the emission test. To pass the test is not that hard but the cost is around three thousand U.S. dollars. Once we passed the test, we can use the certificate to register another 9 exact same model (year, cabin type, engine, transmission and drive train). No guarantee to sell the certificate to other 9 people. Who wants to be the first person to pay $3000 to register a small pick up? I already paid $9000 for just 3 smog certificate from 4 years ago then nobody bought any of each. We would be very happy to sell these certificate to any of you or would be appreciate to see someday we won't have to do this stupid process to drive any imported mini trucks in Japan.

2003 Kendon Single Rail Motorcycle Trailer

2台積みでは幅が広すぎる、1台積みで十分という方、宜しければこの機会にご検討下さい。　

前オーナーさんの使用回数も少なく、年式の割には綺麗な車体です。

We have both, single and dual rail used Kendon folding motorcycle trailers in stock. Both trailers will be arrived to the port of Nagoya on the 1st week of April. We have shipped and sold more than 10 of these trailer to Japan but the trailers are still very rare and hard to find over there. Let us know if you would like to come check the trailers in Japan. We would be happy to show you and these trailers look more nicer than photos.

Forbidden Fantasy Show

カリフォルニア州 Lake Perrisで行われた Forbidden Fantasy Showに行ってきました。

トラッククラブ主催のショウなのでトラックばかりです。　

カスタムショップ製作のショウトラックから個人製作の車両も数多く来ていました。　

屋外でのショウやミーティングも増えてくる時期になってきましたので出来るだけ足を運びたいと思います。

This is the first truck show of 2014 in California called Forbidden Fantasy show held in Lake Perris, CA. Driving a pick up truck and going to truck shows is one of the reason why I came to Southern California (I will explain how difficult to find and drive a pick up truck in Japan next time). I wish I was able to drive my project truck to here but, either way I had so much fun to walk around and check other trucks in the fairground.

85年のFXEFフレームをハードテイル加工して2000年のツインカム88エンジンを積みました。

A friend of mine built this bike for us. Still missing a few small parts such as a rear brake control, exhaust support and steering stopper but he only took a month to get this bike running. We already brought this bike to shipping company to show the bike at a motorcycle show & swapmeet in Japan in this April.

Long Beach Hi-performance Swapmeet

ロングビーチのスワップミートに行って来ました。　

丁度この日からカリフォルニアは夏時間になり時計が1時間進みました。

開始後1時間程は薄暗かったものの日の出以降は天気も良く多くの人で賑わっていました。

The daylight saving time has just started in California yesterday, Sunday March 9th. Only forwarded 1 hour ahead on the clock however, 6 o'clock in the morning when the Long Beach swapmeet start was still dark outside. After the sunrise, it was nice and warm weather out there and we had a lot of fun to check the cars and parts until around noon.

Container #2

名古屋向けコンテナの積み込みが完了しました。

バイクはほとんど積めず、部品と車のフレーム、バイクトレーラーでほぼ埋まってしまいました。　

4月5日頃の名古屋港入港となっています。　

We have loaded 2 bikes, 2 motorcycle trailers, 1 Ford pick up frame built by No limit engineering and hundreds of parts into the container. Less bikes more than usual but spent more time to load everything thanks to a lot of parts.

2005 Kendon Morotcycle Trailer

2005年式のケンドン バイクトレーラーが入庫しました。

オプションのセンターレール付きです。　

ランプも3枚付属しますのでトライクの積載も可能です。　

今週のコンテナに積み込み予定ですので4月上旬の日本到着予定です。　

We just bought this 2005 Kendon folding motorcycle trailer today at Hemet, California. The trailer has an optional center rail and 2 extra loading lamps for hauling trike or 3 dirt bikes set up.
