1991 Evolution Hardtail Rigid Project

91年のエボリジットが形になってきました。

純正のソフテイルフレームを加工してリジット化してあります。

ミッションはショベル用の4速キックスタートのみです。

エンジンがかかりましたら動画をアップします。

Getting close to complete an Evolution hardtail project at our shop. Still need to mount the rear fender, seat, gas tank, and wiring but almost there.

車検が平成30年3月まで残っています。

Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum

先週ピーターセン博物館に行った後にバイクの博物館にも行って来ました。　　

個人のコレクションが増えたので一般に公開するようになったそうです。　　

100年以上前のバイクも何台も有りました。　　

メーカーの名前も半分くらいは分かりません。。　　

興味深い構造の車両多数です。　　

可能であれば動いている所を見たい車両ばかりです。　　

購入時のエピソード、所有者の感想が書かれていたりして楽しめました。　

車両の入れ替え、増車も予定されているようなのでぜひまた行ってみたいと思います。　　

We left Petersen Automotive Museum around noon last Saturday and headed to Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum. The collection that the museum displayed almost all makes that I know and many makes that I didn't know. We only had less than two hours there before they close and of course, we needed more time to check all the bikes and think about some interesting bikes, like "Why did they build the bike like this?"

1958 Triumph T110

58年のトライアンフT110が入荷しました。　

別体の650㏄の実働、マッチングナンバーの車両です。　

ゲージ等欠品しています。　

カスタムやレストアベースにいかがでしょうか？　

It's been harder to harder to find a reasonable, matching numbers, running pre-unit 650 Triumph these days, but here's the one. It's got missing gauges and some original parts so it would be a perfect candidate for restoration or building a custom bike.

Petersen Automotive Museum

ピーターセン自動車博物館に行ってきました。

1800年代の車から現代の車両、カスタムされた車両も展示されています。

見ただけでは名前の分からない車も多くありました。

バイクの展示スペースもありました。

ハーレーVSインディアンと銘打って両社の車両がカテゴリー毎に比較できるように並べてありました。

時間の都合で全て見れなかったのでまた行ってみたいと思います。　

Stopped bu Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles yesterday. We only spent two hours there so, couldn't check all the vehicles the museum displayed. Can't wait to go back there to check the rest of the vehicle we missed this time!

1952 GMC Suburban

お客様からご依頼頂きました52年のサバーバンを引き上げてきました。

錆びも少なく、ボディもストレートです。

直6に4速のフロアマニュアルの組み合わせです。　

内装はシート、内張り、天張り等張替え予定です。

2列目、3列目のシートも張替えが必要ですが残っています。　

　欠品や整備、補修に必要そうな部品をリストアップしていきます。　

Picked up the third gen Suburban from Fillmore, CA.

Container #2

名古屋向けコンテナの積み込みが完了しました。

4月10日頃の日本到着を予定しています。

次回の積み込みは4月下旬の予定です。

1979 Yamaha XS650 Motor

部品取りの79年XS650のエンジンをばらしてみました。

意外と状態が良さそうなので部品を揃えて始動させてみたいと思います。

折角なのでタイミングチェーン等消耗部品は新品に交換しておきます。

始動させるのが楽しみです。

We have no idea how long has this motor been sitting since we got as a spare from a gentleman we bought another XS650. We tried to take the motor apart and decided to start it. We started buying some missing parts and almost there. Can't wait to see this thumper running!
