87年のトヨタ ピックアップです。

圧縮、油圧等確認して

とりあえずエンジンは調子良さそうにかかりました。

マフラー取り付け、配線、配管、ブレーキ周りの整備をして乗れる状態にしていきます。

86-93 マツダ B2000、B2200、B2600 2WD用のシャシーテック製2インチドロップスピンドルが日本に到着しています。

ベルテック製の84-95トヨタ用、83-00日産、ダットサン用、シボレーのS10、エルカミーノ、マリブ、カトラス用も日本に在庫があります。

日本滞在中に納車した車両をご案内します。まずは76年のハイラックスは神奈川県へ。

86年日産720は長野県へ。

71年ダットサン521は京都からお客さんが引き上げに来てくれました。

普段は直接車両や部品のお引渡しをする機会が無いので、今回上記3台を直接お引渡しできて良かったです。

Delivered 2 trucks and we got another truck our customer came to pick up while I'm staying in Japan. We appreciate these opportunities, such as buying trucks in the U.S. and delivering them to our clients in Japan by ourselves.

Vintage Air Installation on 1976 Toyota Pick Up

エンジンを22Rに載せ替えた76年のハイラックスにエアコンを取り付けました。

デンソー製のコンプレッサーとビンテージエア社製の汎用ユニットを使用しました。

車体が小さいので配管の取り回しに少し苦労しましたがスッキリと取り付けできたと思います。

スイッチもビンテージエア社製です。

Installed a Vintage Air's AC unit in our 76 Toyota Pick Up with a Denso AC compressor. It's a tiny truck with a limited space for the AC unit, but came out nice and blows cold.

22Rにエンジンスワップした76年のハイラックスにエアコンを取り付けます。

ビンテージエアの汎用ユニットと

デンソー製のコンプレッサーを装着します。

ヒーター、エアコン、デフロスタ付きのユニットです。

ダクトの取り回し、ルーバーの位置、ユニットの位置を決めていきます。

まだ少し揃っていない部品もありますがスイッチ、配管も取り付けを進めていきます。

76年のハイラックスですがエンジンを降ろしたついでにミッションのガスケットとシールを交換しました。

ミッションメンバーを元のATで使っていた純正に戻す為にマウントを新規製作しました。

マフラーも製作して

とりあえず乗れるようになりました。

Dropped the motor in the truck and mounted the transmission back on. The truck is finally drrivable with a new exhaust pipe and a new Webber carburator.

1976 Toyota Pick Up 22R Conversion Update

一旦は実働となった76年のトヨタ ハイラックス 22Rにエンジン載せ替えの車両でしたが、

エンジンオイルに水が混ざってしまったので再度エンジンを降ろしました。

タイミングチェーンカバーの裏側部分にクラックが入っていてウォーターポンプからの冷却水がオイルパンに微量ですが混入していました。

浅くですがシリンダーもスクラッチがあったので念の為ホーニングとクランクベアリング交換、クランクシャフトのポリッシュをしてもらいました。

改めてエンジンを組み直していきます。

After test drive the 76 Toyota Pick Up 22R conversion on the parking lot, we noticed there was some water in the oil. The timing chain got a small crack inside then LLC went into the oil pan. We took the engine out and had a horning the cylinders, new piston rings, new crank bearings, and got the crank polished.

なかなか作業に取りかかれませんでしたがようやく76年のハイラックスのエンジンがかかりました。

エンジンはリビルト済の80年代の22R（2400cc）に載せ替えました。

走行テストに必要な部品の手配と作業を進めていきます。

We bought this 1976 Toyota Pick Up in 2015 as a 22R conversion project. It's been shitting most of the time since then in our shop but finelly fired up the rebuilt 22R yesterday. We will keep you guys posted as soon as the truck become drivable.

1976 Toyota Pick Up 22R Engine Swap

長らく放置しておりましたが在庫車両の76年トヨタ ハイラックスの作業を再開しました。

20RにATの組み合わせから22Rと5速マニュアルへ載せ換えました。

マニュアル化に伴いクラッチペダル、マスターシリンダーを取り付けました。

次はマフラーの製作です。

It's been a long time since we stopped working on our 76 Toyota Pick Up 22R engine swap. The 22R motor and the 5-speed manual transmission were already installed about a couple years ago. We resumed adding a clutch pedal and making an exhaust pipe. Hopefully, we can try to fire up the motor in a few weeks.
