Custom Barn Doors

オフィスの扉をスライド式のバーンドアに改装しました。

元のドアは開き戸で犠牲になるスペースもあったのでポプラの木とガラスで製作しました。

材料はホームセンターで購入しました。

フレームの接合はポケットホールにしてみました。

ステインで着色、シェラックで保護と艶出しをしました。

まだ改善点はありますが開けたままでもスペースが犠牲にならず開放的になりました。

また何か機会があれば木工製作してみたいと思います。

Wrapped up custom built barn doors for our office. Featured poplar wood lambers and 1/8" thick tempered glass. The doors look great after we added multiple layers of stain and shellac on them and save some space even they are fully opened.
